Q: “How long have you been doing photography?”
A: Ever since I got my first DSLR at 15 years old, I’ve been doing little photoshoots with my friends, but I officially started Katie Beiler Photography in 2016.
Q: “How would you describe your editing style?”
A: It’s really important for me to stay true to life. Meaning, I strive to make the photos look like how it really was. However, I definitely lean towards more soft & moody tones, as opposed to bright & “poppy” colors!
Q: “Can I put my own filter on the photos?”
A: I spend hours perfecting the colors on each photo, so I ask that you would please refrain from putting your own filter on the photos. If there’s anything you’d like fixed, such as a slight change of color or a pimple covered up, please let me know! I’m happy to change a few things around.
Q: “What should I wear to my photo shoot?”
A: I always recommend sticking to neutrals/earth tones. A mix of patterns and solids always looking stunning! I have a Pinterest board that you can check out for inspiration: CLICK HERE!
Q: “Will you pose me? I have no idea what I’m doing in front of the camera!”
A: Let that be the least of your worries! I totally understand how uncomfortable it can be having your photos taken. My goal is to make you forget about the uncomfy feelings. I will pose/prompt you & capture candids along the way :)
Q: “How long will it take to get my photos back?”
A: Portrait/couple/family sessions take about 2 weeks to edit and deliver. Weddings take about 2-3 months!
Q: “How old are you? You look like you’re 15!”
A: I definitely have a baby face, but I’m actually 24!
